Hugh Jackman said he was truly done with the Wolverine character after Logan (2017)
Narrative
Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. The Deadpool & Wolverine team-up shares how they sidestepped the risky jokes, and Emma Corrin shares what it was like working with cool megastars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. He later said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters reunite on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this film, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it, and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best time possible on a movie set with Ryan Reynolds. Similarly, Reynolds had wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was saddened when he (Jackman) retired from the role.
Fox killed him
As Wolverine and Deadpool make their odyssey in the Honda Odyssey, the clock in the car jumps forward three hours during their conversation. Elliot Chipman: That’s Deadpool. Kevin Chipman: That’s Wolverine. Deadpool: You read that right. Disney brought him back.
My first review
They’re gonna make him do that until he’s 90. “Nicepool” is credited to Ryan Reynolds’ fictional twin brother, Gordon Reynolds. Edited from Thor: The Last of Us (2013). Only You (and You Alone) (re-recorded) Written by Buck Ram and Buck Ram (as Ande Rand) Performed by The Platters Courtesy of Cleopatra Records By arrangement with The Orchard. I’m not a huge Marvel fan, but I’ve watched all the Deadpool movies and loved them.
The cameos are, for me, great too
I don’t know what it is about this one, but I thought it was hilarious, and it seems like the entire theater did too. All the jokes are spot on, the acting is great (with a few exceptions), the action is great – overall, a movie I’d recommend to anyone who can handle a little adult (and childish) humor and gore. The story is okay, nothing special, but the execution makes up for it. And one last thing – the pacing is also perfect – 2 hours flew by. I’ll make it short – just go watch it!
