Follows Katherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose job is to expose wrongdoing in long-standing institutions. Gary Oldman was rumored to be cast, but was replaced by Kevin Kline.

Such a lens would not be able to focus on close objects, for example selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Katrina. Never read the book, so judge the series as a standalone series.
The series is too long, too long
It was intriguing and mysterious for the first few episodes, but by episode five I was like, “Oh my god, just end it already.” Katrina’s constant silence/interruptions when she tries to give her point of view seems like a plot device to move the story along. Clearly set up for the “spinning.” The constant and detailed sex scenes are just comfortable.
I don’t mind sex scenes, but if I want to watch “in detail” sex scenes that last ten minutes, my first choice would not be Apple TV+
Literally porn.
