American (English) Remake HPI (2021) Series in France
Narrative
Follows Morgan, a single mother of three, and thanks to her exceptional mind, she is able to help solve a crime when she reconstructs evidence during her shift as a cleaner at the police department.. Despite her very high IQ, excellent memory and extensive knowledge of the arcane, Morgan makes a series of basic mistakes in the law that anyone who has watched a TV legal show knows not to make. In the first episode, for example, she retrieves a document from a locked safe in the suspect’s – victim’s law office – evidence that would never be admissible in court – illegally obtained evidence.
Reprint of HPI (2021)
Nor could it be used to obtain other evidence – the "fruit of the poisonous tree" Violation of the legal principle of In episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in #3, she removes all documentary evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and further destroying everything she removed. Admissible in a court of law.. At first I thought this was going to be a comedy along the lines of Psych!
Or a silly comedy like Always Sunny
I mean, the only characters I’ve seen Kaitlin Olson play are trashy women with a sense of humor. If that’s what you like about her, don’t worry, she definitely brings both of those qualities to this role. But she does it somehow in a mature way.The first episode I’ve seen so far, but it seems to be the same series as the aforementioned Psych!
And it’s fraternal twins, The Mentalist
Olsen plays a character with a very high IQ who suffers from a type of OCD where she obsesses over unnecessary things. She also has a keen sense of observation, and she uses this intelligence to assist the local police in solving crimes. This is not a dramatic detective show, but it is not a comedy played for laughs either.
The first episode was enjoyable and I hope the show continues
It’s a lighthearted action crime show like ABC’s The Rookie and even gives me vibes from FX’s brilliant Rescue Me series from the early 2000s. Same lines, with just enough dark humor to make it fun, but without making it a joke.
