After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island
To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Lupita Nyong’o joins writer-director Chris Sanders to talk about the significant credits and their time making Wild Robot together. According to author Peter Brown, the inspiration behind Wild Robot came from a sketch he made of a robot in a tree.

I saw Wild Robot when it premiered at TIFF and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
The story was so beautiful, so heartfelt and moving that I cried 3 times
It’s one of those movies that makes you feel so emotional and you leave the theater completely changed. It was a beautiful story of found family, unexpected connections and the beauty of motherhood. I’m currently reading the book and can’t wait for the rest of the world to see this incredible movie.
