Then the film really becomes something else
At the Cannes Film Festival press conference, Mikey Madison said that director Sean Baker will act out different sexual poses with his wife, producer Samantha Kwan, to show the actors what he wants them to do. A cleverly written and funny script with a cute story really kept me engaged in the first half of this film.
that I really appreciated, but ultimately it’s not what I expected, or, to be honest, really wanted
The pacing definitely slowed down for too long, and I felt like the film lost a bit of its momentum. The very last scene is exactly what I wanted to happen between the two characters, but the other main character was completely blacked out, which I didn’t want.
Only because of her alone, I would recommend watching it!
